Summertime brings grilling, swimming, lazy days in the sun, and delicious salads. This broccoli salad is the perfect dish to bring to your summer potlucks. Crunchy, creamy, salty with a bit of sweet, broccoli salad is sure to become a favorite!
Head of Broccoli
Head of Cauliflower
6 strips of Bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ Cup Raisins
½ Cup Sunflower Seeds
1 Cup Mayo
¼ Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1 teaspoon Dried Minced Onion
½ teaspoon Real Salt
- Wash and cut the broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized pieces. Add to a large bowl.
- Add in the bacon, seeds and raisins. Stir to combine.
- Add the remaining sauce ingredients and stir well to evenly coat.
- Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 3 days.
This salad tastes best the first day it is made. To make ahead, follow steps 1 and 2. Combine the sauce ingredients and store separately in the refrigerator. Before serving, combine the broccoli mix with the sauce.
